Heat Pumps
Low-carbon heating, properly installed.

A heat pump moves heat from outside air into the home, giving low-carbon heating and hot water without a gas boiler. We supply and install air-source and ground-source systems, size them correctly for the property, and commission them so they run at their designed efficiency. Every job starts with an assessment of the property, insulation and existing heating, followed by a fixed quote and a clear programme of works.

Frequently asked questions
- Heat pump or gas boiler?
- A heat pump can cut heating costs and running emissions significantly, but it depends on insulation, property size and your current system. We assess your property and give you an honest recommendation — including if we think a heat pump is not the right fit yet.
- Will my home need extra insulation?
- Often yes. Heat pumps work best in a well-insulated home, so we check insulation, glazing and fabric before quoting. If upgrades are needed we will tell you upfront rather than after installation.
- How long does installation take?
- A straightforward air-source installation is usually a few days on site, with commissioning before handover. We confirm the programme of works in your quote.
